When the weather is warm and the sun is shining, there’s nothing more refreshing than an ice cold smoothie. These healthy smoothies will make for a perfect summer breakfast or afternoon snack, and will also give you a delicious serving of fresh fruit and even some veggies. Check them out and give them a try! 1. Two-minute Breakfast Smoothie 1 banana 1 tbsp porridge oats 80g soft fruit (whatever you have – strawberries, blueberries, and mango all work well) 150ml milk 1 tsp honey 1 tsp vanilla extract Full Recipe 2. Mixed Berries and Banana Smoothie 1 cup frozen mixed berries 1 frozen ripe banana 1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yoghurt 1/4 cup orange juice 1 teaspoon honey (optional) Full Recipe 3. Sunshine Daydream Smoothie 1 cup frozen strawberries 1/2 cup frozen peaches 1 cup plain yoghurt 1/2 cup coconut water 1 fresh strawberry, for garnish Full Recipe   4. Green Breakfast Smoothie 1/2 firm ripe avocado 1 ripe banana, sliced 1 kiwifruit, peeled, chopped Large handful baby spinach leaves 1 1/4 cups low fat milk (cow, soy, almond, rice or coconut) 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons honey 1/2 cup ice cubes Full Recipe   5. Mango Lassi 3-4 ripe mangoes (honey mangoes if possible) 500g natural yogurt 2 tsp ground cardamom 1 tbsp honey 2 limes, juiced, to taste Full Recipe   6.
